Somebody said that it couldn’t be done,

    But, he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn’t," but he would be one
    Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
    On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
    That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you’ll never do that;
    At least no one has done it";
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
    And the first thing we knew he’d begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
    Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
    That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
    There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you one by one,
    The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle it in with a bit of a grin,
    Just take off your coat and go to it;
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
    That "couldn’t be done," and you’ll do it.

Stop-Motion Genius

This is a sort of hybrid between a regular video and a stop-motion.  It is very well-done, and I can tell a lot of time and effort was put into it.  It definitely warrants a watch and a thumbs up

This is a great example of what someone can accomplish with Final Cut Express and a little know-how. I really want to make my own watch computer effect. I feel like that would make an excellent addition to a school project. :-D

Long Way Down: The Art of the Documentary

Being the diligent fellow that I am, I spent all yesterday watching the series Long Way Round,  which follows Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman in their journey around the world beginning in London and ending in New York.  Today I'll probably spend most of my time watching Long War Down, which is the same idea, but they go from Scotland to Cape Town. 

Anyway, I just think this is interesting because it gives an idea of how a documentary can be made with very little hassle.  It inspires me to do something similar.  I really like the series and I'm sure you will too.
