The book is pretty damn good considering that it is Holocaust fiction. I would much rather read this book than Anne Frank any day. My teacher warned us that it would be a pretty easy read because it's young adult fiction, which is a fancy way of saying that it's written for thirteen year olds. However, I didn't feel like it was beneath me at all. You should probably read the book. You won't be disappointed.
